Friday night, our church participated in a multi-church Good Friday event. It’s an inspiring time, with a mixed choir, gifted worship leaders and musicians from several churches, and pastors of different ethnicity share in the remembrance of our Savior’s death.
Church rocked yesterday! Great music. Great message.

Love it!
Ever make a wrong turn? Ever waste time trying to find your way around because you didn’t listen to instructions? Me too. Ever make a wrong turn in life… not a car? Often we examine our lives in terms of pass and fail. Did I marry the right person? Did I choose the right career path? Do I live in the right city? Did I put my kids in the right school? Is this right church?
My dad was running on the trails of Lake Austin when he crossed paths with Leslie. You know Leslie. The cross-dressing-tiara-beard wearing man. So dad says, “Nice to meet you Leslie. I want you to come to my church.” To which Leslie replies, “No one has ever invited me to their church.” “Well, you’re welcome at ours”- my dad says.
So Leslie says to my dad, “Can I wear my skirt?” Dad pauses. Then says, “Yeah, just let it out a little bit!”
That’s funny right there.
1. The way we receive and handle our blessings as a family: Are we rivers or reservoirs? Talk about the difference between the two concepts. Be specific with examples. Reservoirs receive and hold. Rivers receive and flow.
2. What are the little things we spend on each day that, over time, could add up to a large blessing for someone?
3. Read about the man in Luke 12:16-25. Ask your family, "What is the real matter that Jesus is addressing?" List specifics how you can be 'kingdom minded' and not 'self minded.'
I pray you’re doing well! I tweet everyday if you want to follow me @randypcd. I don’t blog as much as I used to.
I started a new message series called “WALLS.” What is the wall in your life? That thing that is keeping you from your best life.
I want to tell you, that your days of confinement are over!
Let me ask you a few questions:
1. Do you expect annual income up/down?

When the Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Cor. that the things he should do – he didn’t want to do, and the things he shouldn’t be doing – he wanted to do, you have to wonder where am I in this spectrum?
