That was a fun read Robin. I could relate. I grew up in a West Texas town south of Lubbock. We shot fireworks at each other too. I remember shooting bottle rockets while driving at passing cars. What fun! Fortunately, no one's eye was put out. I've been swimming in an irrigation tank. I've chopped cotton and moved pipe. Big giant ice cold watermelon cost $.25 each. The most fun I ever had was driving dirt roads as a kid. We're certainly blessed to have been born in this great land of ours. I hope we don't take it for granted.
