Do the what?
Written by Randy Phillips

After a PCD concert up the far north, Kansas City, I was watching SportsCenter on ESPN.  They showed the surging Texas Rangers highlights.  After a guy got a base hit they showed him doing a crab-like thing with his hands.  Announcers said, "this is called the Claw."

Well, I said to myself.  I've got to write a song about that!  So I did along with hip hop artist Canton Jones.

Sent it to Josh Hamilton (soon to be MVP!) and he sent it to the Rangers announcer.  They've been playing the hide off that song at every Ranger home game 10-15 times a game.

So I thought, ok, now how can I parlay that into something that has a noble cause.  Right away, FT. HOOD FAMILIES and CHILDREN.  We feed 1500 troop families every year and give gifts to every child.  What if this quirky little tune could underwrite this celebration!

Download www.dotheclaw.com and support the troops!

Pass this along to your friends and family and co-workers.  Put this on your facebook.  Let's celebrate our surging TEXAS RANGERS and let's support our troops.

Let the Healing Begin
Written by Randy Phillips

Well, Sunday is going to be something else.  A man named Robert Rogers will be my guest and he will tell his story of the greatest pain a person can have.

In a freak storm that swept his van off the highway at midnight- he was thrown from the van...and watched in horror as his family was carried downstream trapped.

4 children and a precious wife.  one special needs child and a precious child they adopted from China.  All gone.

He said the agony of the funeral with 5 caskets was overwhelming.  And worse still was going back into the house with toys, clothing, pictures on the ice box.

Yet God gave him a peace.  Through worship, the word and great counselors - he has journeyed through the sadness.

Did he blame God?  Did he feel guilt about being the only one saved?  How has he kept his focus?

Hear his amazing story for yourself.

20/20 vision
Written by Randy Phillips

They called today to tell me "Great are you Lord" went  #1 on INSPO charts.  The Lord is good and so is radio across this country and our wonderful friends who have supported us for 20 years.

Hard to believe that 3 preacher's kids- who were friends- got together to do an album to hopefully sell enough to cover the cost.  That was 20 years ago.

Whew.

20 years.  20 #1's.  And all because we've been blessed to have great producers, wonderful songs, favor with radio and the best friends and fans in the world.
