Been a while since I've written.  Not intentional, just busy and started tweeting.  Hope your summer is going well.

I've been preaching a series called "Take Control of Your Life."  It has really struck a chord with many people in our church.  One of the things even believers struggle with is a spirit that controls us.  Not possesses us, but influences us.  Spirits of shame, bitterness, destruction, hatred, deception and addiction.

I asked people who have had a destructive thought this past week to contact me.  I couldn't believe the amount of gifted people- young and old - most affluent and living the American dream- who thought about ending their life.  Wow.

Recognize that you have the power to bind and loose the spirits that come against you.  You have an enemy and that enemy is wanting to control your thoughts, emotions and will.

Through the power of prayer we can bind the strong man and loose the power of God.
